Clutch safety switch

Is there a relay from clutch depressed safety switch in the wiring to the starter?
whereabouts is this relay --or is it direct (I doubt it because the wires I have found at the clutch pedal are very small & could not be directly in the starter line?)
I have looked for "starter relay" in engine compartment manin fuse panel along the fender & an extra container in front of the battery ( dimmer light relay in there)

If there is a relay is it a negative system or a positive ( triggered by +12 volts)system

This is on a 97 4cylinder manual transmission of course
I have to identify and provide connection to my remote starter
Thanks in advance -- Will get a manual As soon as in the city!

Will Hayes Mnaual give me enough info?
Thanks again

you need a clutch bypass switch and after that you'll have to leave your car parked in netrual with the parking brake on to insure it doesn't go anywhere.

I know I have to bypass the clutch safety switch. The question is how . The "switch" (relay) already exists & gets an input from pushing the clutch to the floor. I need to find out the location of the wiring terminations at the relay which allows start current when clutch is pushed so I can bring a starter package input to the relay instead of the clutch switch .
I know leave in neutral & parking brake routine.

Still no help? -- I am doubtful that a Hayes Manual has the info? let me know if they cover it for other models & I will buy

No "real" Manual transmission drivers?

Everyone on here drive slush boxes -- no help on clutch issue?

Haha ^

Just short the terminals together at the switch. Then, to the car, itll always be in, thus you would've bypassed it!

I found a checklist on Prostart website to review the type of clutch bypass system I have . It proved to be direct (no relay) so "start " wire of remote starter connects to it. All now working I had doubted my wiring but it proved out OK
