As in, BRAND NEW? I know Chevy does (so does $6,000 of our dollars for a new 350). Just curious to see how much it is.

I have not posted in a long while, been busy. Camry is running great, but the rear suspsension is making a hell of a racket, so I will be playing with that. Still thinking about a Scion tC in a few years (or sooner if I total the Camry

Im not sure if they sell the whole motor but they do sell 1mz-fe shortblocks for about $1600.

They did as-of 2 years ago. One of my friend's dad bought a blown '99 Camry while he was finishing in Toyota tech school. Bought a brand new engine from his Toyota dealer. IDK the price, but 2500-3000usd sounds about right.

yea...and the dealer can order ANY part u need right? y wouldn't they be able to get a whole new engine?

In the US car manuf are only required to build new parts for 10 years. That'd be the only reason. Running out of stock after production has long since ceased.
