2nd Generation Exhaust Headers (Is this right?)

I was looking on this website for some headers for the 3sgte motor i will soon be ordering. and i stumbled across this:

http://www.car-stuff.com/performance...tegory=exhaust

The one i am asking about is the second one down. it says that its for the 3sfe celica motor. does this mean it will bolt up to the 3sfe motor in my camry and allow me to turbo it? not saying i really want to, but it might be kool to mess around with and give to my cousin or something. he has a 1991 camry but no money to keep up with me. let me know what you guys think and if it would work. thanks

wow that's expensive 600$ for headers... what you should do is get the 3sge header off of a junked celicia and get a shop to make a new down pipe would be a lot cheaper than 600$

thats an axhaust manifold for turbo applciations, not for a naturally aspirated car. If you plan on doing a custom turbo on your 3sfe, thats what you want. Thats not a performance header for the 3sfe, its an upgrade for a turbo. Also, toysrme, you say theres tons of headers for the 3sfe on ebay, where? i dont see any at all? Could you post a link? thanks

If you want to turbo your car, get a 3s-gte manifold and ct-26 turbo.

If you want more power naturally aspirated, get the pacesetter header for the 3s-fe motor.

thanks for the info guys, but if you read my first statement, i got about a month left of savings until i can finally buy the 3sgte motor. not planning on doing anything with the 3sfe as of right now. just wanted to make sure i was reading that right. becase i have looked alot of places and never found them for that motor. i might eventually mess around with the 3sfe motor to has as a back up in case something goes terribly wrong with the 3sgte. or i might give it to my cousin for his gen 2. either way just wanted to make sure. thanks guys for the info and the help i really appreiciate it

I hope by "buy a 3s-gte" you mean, "but a 3s-gte, wiring harness, ecu and many associated parts' or maybe 'buy an mr2 or celica all-trac clip with a 3s-gte in it' ... otherwise you will have a useless motor.

If you get a complete motor with manifolds and turbo 'n stuff, you have no need to upgrade the exhaust manifold until you are looking at really big power levels.

My point is... the exhaust manifold should be the least of your worries.

-Charlie

PS. The exhaust manifolds are bolt-ons between the 3s-fe, 3s-ge and 3s-gte. You may need to do custom exhaust work, but they all bolt up correctly to the head itself.

Sup, I emailed Pacesetter and asked about the header for the GEN 2 Camry 4 cylinder engine. They replied that they didn't make them for that car. Maybe I should have mentioned the engine code 3sfe. Anyways, will the Pacesetter Toyota Celica Performance Street Headers - Headers Part #PAC701155 fit on my GEN 2 Camry?
