switching is it safe???

Ok I have done research of this forum from A-Z and have learned a lot thanks guys. Ok here is the question I would like to ask you. I have a 1997 Camry I4 with about 75000 miles. I bought the car with 39000 and did oil changes on time did tune up really since I got it I maintenated the car like a pro (love Toyota I have two). For 8 years 75000 miles of cars life I have been using regular oil. I would like to switch to synthetic oil only if it is safe to switch at this miles and age. Do you think I could switch easily to synthetic just drain the regular oil and put Mobil 1 10W 30 without flushing engine. Would thih be safe on cars engine. Any help would be nice thank you and keep those yota rolling.

You can start using synthetic anytime. You can switch from syn to dino back to syn w/ no probs. I'd keep using dino cause syn is damn expensive--ESP. if you aren't running boost.

For the future, read here:

Cool

You can change oils as much as you want. It all mixes anyway. Never a better time to swap to synthetic than now.

Cool

Because twenty years ago people that called themselves "mechanics" said it was so.

Same with 90% of the stuff you hear. People just keep telling people the same shit, and everyone believes it with no data, or anything else ever actually studied, or proven.
