1) Vacuum leak
2) spark plugs
3) Ignition/cam timing
4) fuel filter
5) rest of the fuel system
Start checking in that order...
Ignition timing should be set to 10*btdc. If ignition timing is correct, cam timing is correct. (if it's not been played with)
If you have a volt meter, tap one of the two o2 sensors and take a 5 min drive. Once the engine has warmed up, floor it from a stop and the o2 voltage should jump, and stay over 750mv (0.75v). It shouldn't rise above 830mv.
If it stays between there while you've got the gas floored, the entire fuel system is fine don't bother checking it further.
Seriously. Sounds like a vacuum leak more than anything else.
