cupholder design

on my gen 5 camry se the center console cupholders are stupidly built. the gap between the two holders is too wide, thus allowing a soda can to tip over while stopping. this is really annoying and has caused me to lose my soda so many times ive lost count, not to mention the hastle of having to get like 591371 paper towels to dry it and wipe it up.

question: is there anything you guys have done to solve this problem, or is there anything toyota sells to fix it (like kind of a half-to-buy-it part)? i dont feel like driving thirsty any more. thanks

yeah i have the same problem...

those tabs that are there dont do very much , well for me anyway.

so my solution is to put your keys or wallet or whatever you got into the cupholder section and that will stop the drink from spilling
works for me, its just a hassle to do

The tabs in mine work perfectly... I've never had a problem with anything tipping/falling over.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
