1MZ Rear bank valve cover gasket replaced

Today, when i was trying to remove the air intake chamber from the intake plenum, i unbolted and took off the egr temperature sensor. There was some yellow paint on one of the screws. After taking a look at that, i put it back.

What i found out is there is a small magnetic rotatable core inside that cover (I rotated the core several turns, it looks like nothing happened). I have circled around in the attached figure.

Do i need to take it to the dealership to let them reajust it?

Help!

Looks pretty clean to me too. Someone has taken care of this car, doing the oil changes on time.

BTW, I alway don't understand why some RTV sealant is needed at several points (edge of some bearing) when trying to put the valve cover gasket back.

It seems to me that these RTV sealant are not doing anything, although i still did it according to repair manual.
