I'm tired of hearing of stuff on TV and other places that remove scratches, that protect your paint, etc, then when U spend your hard earned money on it, the thing just endes up in your garage, taking up valuable space...[/i]

If you have the money, i LOVE griots garage stuff. i completly detailed my car with there buffer, polishes, wax and all the other goodies and it looks like new again. Keep in mind, this is a 93 with 170,000 miles on it, and the paint is back to original, but every nice shine. Took out all the scraches and everything, except rock dings, but thats to be expected.

Sounds like alot of money, but when it saves you a paint job, its cheap. Pluse i am already making the money back detailing other cars.

When I want my ride looking best, i use, Meguiar's Paint Cleaner + Mothers Wax+Elbow Grease+4hrs of intense work in the hot summer sun= Beautiful job well done!

Works for me now but I'm looking for a cheap/used buffer. Anyone have one FS?

My Car Care Products

Here is what I use on my 2002 Camry and other cars:

Meguiars Scratch X to fill in light scratches ($15 at Walmart)

Crystal -Glo Paint Treatment that gives shine and protects paint from bird droppings, bugs, etc. ($18 at Home Hardware)

S100 Pure Carnauba Wax to give the cars a great shine ($28.95 from the Harley Davidson Dealership). The S100 is the same as P21S Carnauba but cheaper and available in Toronto.

Meguiars Final Inspection/Quick Detailer for touch ups as needed ($12 at Walmart)

S100 Detail and Wax for more involved touch ups ($15.95 at the Harley Davidson Dealership)

If you are going to do that, get the griots stuff. I did my car, my moms and my sisters and now the neibors are asking me to do theres. The funny thing is, they arent really car people, they just see how much better they look. If you spend the money with griot's, and dont like it, they return it. Very nice deal, but you wont have to use it.
