No traction control. Meaning you'll spin your tires easier (if you actually had the power to do it). And it helps to prevent loss of tracion in bad whether.

in very simple terms.
with Traction Control Off, you can spin your wheels as much as you want
but with Traction Control On, the car will realise the wheels are spinning, and it will lower your rpm just enough so that your wheels can get back the traction
i wish i had that option , we dont get Traction Control in the Aussie Camrys
which rocks

I dont know what it is but my Gen3 i4 seems to have more power than what everyone else talks about. my tires spin all the time on dry pavement. and I have 172000miles on it. its a JDM Camry, and it is all stock. it was a very early producion gen 3, but I dont know? But then again I dont Mind.
edit: the tires only have 2500 miles on them.

I highly doubt you ever spin your tires besides when it is wet or snowing. My guess is you just get a little tire churp. Or you turn the wheel to one side and step on the gas. But otherwise your not really spinning the tires. Just a moment of lost traction.

smokingtiresV6, yeah what you said... i get that taking off with taps wide open, only momentarly... although, if my tyres are sitting right on the white paint at the lights, it lasts a little longer...
but, got an auto V6 upto "80km/h" in the wet... Think the car was doing about 20-30km/h
i can spin all of first on bad road, chirp/spin to 4k rpm on grippy road, spin 1st and 2nd in the wet, and do smokey burnouts with the handbrake
