Ripped vinyl.... What to do?

hey guys, are there any places that can fix ripped or damaged vinyl on the dash? The reason why i ask is I used to have a compass/ornament stuck to the top of the vinyl dash and when i took the thing off, it ripped the vinyl. I've seen those kits that you can repair yourself but i'd rather take it to somebody and get it done professionally. Any suggestions? i'm in the atlanta area.

Most dealerships have specialists that repair ripped vinyl on their used cars before reselling them. They usually come to the dealerships to work on these cars. If you have a contact at a local dealership, call them and ask them if they can recommend someone for you. Alternatively, you can keep an eye out for these guys if you ever visit a dealership and go up to them and ask them for a card.

You should be able to look up in the phone book interior repairs for automobiles. Or if you are in good with a service dept at a dealership maybe give them a call to see who they use. They may even be able to come to you to get it done. Most of them are mobile anyway. They bring everything with them so you can do iit at work or home if needed.
