spark plugs

hey guys.
I have a question on spark plugs... I've decided to change them in my 95 5S-FE because my currents ones are wearing out. i can actually feel the wire holding it vibrating because of the piston motions and i know thats not good. so anyways, i'm thinking about putting in new plugs.
so my question.... which is better: platinum, iridium, or gold palladium? different brands claim different things and i don't know what to do. I know that nickel is kinda....eh, haha so i'm just narrowing it down to those three.
So yea, does anyone have any actual experience with those plugs? also, should i change my wires too while i'm at it? the car is at 99.5k miles. k, thanks guys!

i really dont know how much of a difference the platinum/iridium etc will make. just stick with NGK or Denso and you will be fine. you can find them online cheap enough.

Probably worth changing the HT leads as well. If one of them develops a fault, it could take out your nice new sparks as well.

Sorry, High Tension Leads, it's what I've always called them. They are just your spark leads.

Yeah, that's right. If you buy a pack of leads, you should get 5. 4 of them will go from the spark plugs to the distributor cap and 1 will go from the distributor cap to the coil. Just make sure that you do one at a time so that you connect the correct lead to the spark plugs. Won't run so good if get the firing order wrong. Done that plenty of times without thinking.

Hmm, ok, well, that makes sense. I was thinking I can have my plugs/wires changed at a shop actually so not hooking them up correctly wouldn't be my problem...I'd do it myself but it's just that i'm 17, and this is my only car and i don't wanna mess up something bad... well, you get the idea.
thanks a lot for your feedback! i appreciate that~

will be cheaper if you do it yourself.
just pull one cable @ a time. shop will charge you 20$ for pulling and installing cables.
1-10 hard work factor, with 10 being the hardest, this would rate as a 1 in terms of hard work factor.

I'm certainly no mechanical genius but spark plug changing is pretty simple and you will save money. Mind you, saying that, I get mine done by a friend because the 3VZ-FE is a bitch to get to the rear sparks unless you have 2 elbows.

If you "can feel the wire holding it vibrating" you may have one or two plugs that have become loose inside the head. Before doing anything else, get a manual and a torque wrench and torque the plug(s) you feel this vibration from, to factory torque specs.

Hi.
Can I use iridium spark plugs in my 2001 2.2L 5sfe Camry?(Distributorless ignition.)But it says in the owners manual do not use single ground electrode plugs.I don't know why.May be some thing do with the waste spark ignition system? But I am not sure why.
I found Denso IK20, SK20R11 and NGK BKR6E1X-11 iridium plugs can be used in my type of car. Can I? what will be the service interval if I use them in my car?(original plugs can be used until 90000kms)
Thanks in advance.
