Gen5 Cupholder problems

I know that this is the stupidest question on this forum probably. But I got a lighter wedged between the cracks of my cupholder and the emergengy brakes. You know I would like to use my cupholder. So if anybody can help me that would be awesome. Thank you in advance.

I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to, since there is no place for anything to get stuck in between the cupholder and emergency brake handle. That entire plastic piece, including the cupholder, can be taken out very easily. Open the center console, and pry the piece out from the back with a flat-head screwdriver.
