Toyota VVT-i vs. Honda VTEC

I think the vvt-i is beter because it offers a wider band of preformance at different rpms. Vtec is basicly two cams one is for the lower rpms and one is for the higher rpms the engin basicly had no power until the other cam kicks in. The vvt-i engin is beter in my opinion because it preforms beter and gets beter milage

VTEC is capable of higher gains than VVTi, it is more difficult to implement, and less smooth. VVTi, there is no noticeable transition to the driver. But the power gains are also less, and implementation is easier. VTEC and VVTi goals are the same thing, low end torque and high end horsepower and they both do it.
