Damnit! I had a thread on this before regarding tire size or what not. Here is the problem, as some of you know I mounted my rims and tires on yesterday. Here is the exact offset of the rims and tires. 18X* 5 X 114.3 ET 35mm and the tires are 225/40ZR/18! My suspenesion is Tockico and Eibach springs for my V6 Camry. When I'm driving, and a bump comes out ocassionally enough, the left front and rear side hits the tires i believe. I do not think it's the fenders hitting but the top part of the tire hitting the struts. GRrRRRrrr... If it helps I do have my sparetire / 2 12" Kicker L7's in a box and 2 amps in the rear. But still, last year I had my 17" 225/45/17 and they never rubbed the top or anything. I just put the suspension setup about a two years now, with 30,000 miles on them. Do I need new struts/springs already? ANYONE PLEASE HELP! It happens occasionally not all the time when I hit bumps or anything. Mostly when it dipps the down the road and goes up. HELP!
Your offset is too low. That's why you're rubbing.
You should have gotten 18x8 with a 40+ offset.

Roll your fenders. If you want to, you can probably pull them out a little too.
Spacers will only PUSH out your wheels and you'll rub no matter what.

I mean, you can "shave" the hub on the wheel to increase the offset but I wouldn't do it it.
Just roll your fenders... it will probably cost you like $45.00 to do it.

Tire size has nothing to do with the fact that you're rubbing. your OFFSET is what is messing up your car.
Either way, get you fenders pulled or rolled. Then it should clear it. You probably need like 5-7mm MAX to clear.

Thanks man! Just got my friend and my brother who's pretty damn heavy to get in the car. Problem is that the driver side springs ( Eibach's ) is to low and hitting the tires. I guess eventually with time no matter what time of springs they will go a lil lower. Guessing with the constant weight of gas tank/ driver / and subs in the back made it go down those lil 5-10mm. So, I must roll the fenders which you've been telling me. SUCKS! But do what I gotta do I guess!
