Hey everyone!
I'm a new member here, site looks incredible, im glad i came across this site!
Anyways, i have a 2003 camry and it's approaching the 50k mile mark, Any advice on what things i should do? I'm about to take it in for an oil change, so after i do an oil change, what things should i do to my car? any advice is welcomed, thanks!
I was looking for advice maintenence (spelling) wise, Like for example, what things i should check for, what precautionary steps i should take, what type of oil to use, are dealership oil changes the best, what type of oil fiter, what brands should i use, etc... any advice is helpful! thanks
Drain/fill the transmission pan, drive around the block, drain/fill again. Drain the cooling system & refil. (If it's red, use Toyota red, if it's not red, DON'T use Toyota red!!!)

Uh... dude... you're supposed to change regular oil every 3000...
Check your owners manual. THey tell you to replace it every 3750 miles for schedule a and 7500 for schedule b. Schedule a is towing trailers, dusty roads repeated short trips and lots of idling. Schedule b is for everything else. The whole 300 miles thing is slightly overrated. That is mostly the oil companies trying to get you to buy more oil. 5000 should be sufficient for most everyone if you arent racing your car and live in the middle of the dust bowl.
