Where is the intake silencer on a 97 4cyl camry? I cant find it

Not sure, I have a V6, but I imagine it would be somewhere inbetween where the airfilter is and the intake, right? On my 1mz-fe, it's just a big plastic box.

there should be one on the wheelwell, and just look at the tube from the airbox to the throttle body, there should be something hanging off of it - thats the resonator

Its behind the front drivers side fender. You need to remove the wheel well liner to get to it.
