I've been looking around for ideas about clear and/or projector headlights for a gen 3.5 camry. I've seen the DIY to clear out the headlights and to put projectors in, but I'm trying to find an easier way (actually I'm afraid I'll break the headlamp, I don't have a whole lot of time, and I'm a bit lazy).
I'm wondering if there are any headlamps from any other cars that might fit. I've found some that look like the same shape as the camry, I just can't tell from the pictures if they're the same size.
well, i have a method in mind i wanna do during summer. it's basically splicing bmw headlights into my 3.5 camry. essentially, it's using the 5 series shape and somehow sanding it down to fit into the glass portion of the 3.5 headlight. my other idea was taing out the HID bulb harness and plug ( dunno what it's called... where the bulb sits) and making a big hole in the camry headlight and then trying to fit those two together. it would be a pain in the butt to do but i think the end resultant would look mighty sweet.

That's a thought. I was looking at some Accord lights. They're shaped almost identically to the Camry and they're just as long. I was also looking at some Civic ones. They're the exact same shape, but they don't look long enough, and they also seem a little to wide. With the pics I've seen though, I can't really tell.
metal work is a pain compared to ripping apart a headlight..
why dont you mould a dual beam headlight? get 2 sealed round projector or normal halogen ones units and fit them into a mould in the car color so like you got twin spotty headlights
wood then fiberglass

Have you considered the clear headlights for the gen 3?

can you have the 94 lights, keep the 96 grille and maybe fill the hold with plastic/fiberglass, etc... has anyone tried that? Just make a small piece to fill the trianglar gap?
theres no need to try it, but you can go to a hardware store buy a frp repair kit and do what you just said ^^
think ya gotta do something about the lower part of hte grille too.. i dont have a lower part on my car (its not a camrycamry) but i have 3.5 lights.
