I am planning to get a silverstar shortly. Since I want to conserve the life of the light, I want to shut off the daytime running lights. But does anyone know how? Instruction will be great thanks!

daytime running light doesnt eat up much of bulb life. I have silverstar highbeam that i've been using for about more than a year. But then again, i live in NY so i dont use high beam much.
yosh has the right idea... its what i did... and if you wanna disable the auto lights if you dont have the switch on your headlight column... its the little sensor inside the car on the right side of the dash... just pop it out then unplug it... but good luck ever trying to plug it in again
when you open your hood... being in front of your car its on the left side where the passanger seat is by the fire wall... its a small gray connector a little smaller than a golf ball... cant miss it
Buthow about if I want to turn my lights on inside the car? Do I have to go out and plug it in again?
That connector is only for the daytime running lights, don't worry.
Really though, daytime running lights do not decrease the life of headlight bulbs... I disabled the daytime running lights in my WRX, but I actually leave my headlights and fog lights on full all the time. I think of it as cheap insurance.

Why it doesn't decrease the life of the lightbulb? It is turn on all the time though... I really hate the Camry designer At least they can put a fog light in the bottom to imporve visibility. Asia version all have a set of foglight. I donno why we don't get them...

I cant stand people who drive around with ALL their lights on when its 90 degrees outside and the sun is almost blinding. I hate it especially when Gen 5 or higher Camry owners do it because in Gen 5s and newer you can turn off your DRLs. But often times I see people, especially SE owners speeding down the road in broad daylight with not only their low-beams on, but their fog lights too. Its so stupid. That's why Toyota installed DRLs. And furthurmore its against the law in most places to have your nightime lights on during the day. You'll get pulled over by the cops in a hot second.
