2nd Generation NEED URGENT HELP Indicators and hazard lights not working

Hey everyone I need some help. My turn signals and hazard lights are completely inoperable. I have an 89 SV21 executive camry. I was just driving along and the indicators stopped working. I have checked/replaced the fuses for both the turn signals and the hazard lights to no effect. I removed the battery leads thus resetting the elec system and it worked for a bit, tried it again but didn't work. I have an immobiliser installed and when I press the button on it all the indicators work. I quickly spoke to the local mechanic who said the 'Flasher Can' is most likely broken. Could you guys please give me some advice, I have searched the forums but could not find this topic. The reason I say urgent is because it is pretty dangerous and illegal and my arm is getting tired from using it to signal Very Happy . Thanks.

Thanks for ur help guys. It turned out to be the flasher can (relay). Cost $38.50 from Toyota. On my Australian model it was located on the right side drivers side wall, above the fuse box. If anyone needs it I have photos of where it is located exactly and what it looks like.

Thanks again.
