I finally got rid of my stock speakers yesterday. I opted for the Infinity 652i's. Damn, they are clear and powerful! I heard a lot of both, negative and postive opinions about Infinity's but I can only give positive comments here! They handle up to 180W! Zero distortion, no matter how loud I make it to. Well, for now I just got the 6.5" in, and want the 652i 6x9's but I can only find the 6x9's in 3-way's. My 6.5" are 2-way, and the "guy" there said mixing 2-way and 3-way is fine, but I always believed it gave a funny sound quality? Any expert opinions here?
i'd go with 2-way 6x9's in the rear to keep the soudstage at the front of the car. there was a dicussion on this a month ago. i'm just too lazy to search it for you. :P
I just bought infinity 6x9 reference speakers. 300watts 3 way. They sound a lot better than my 270 watt 4 way pioneers... I bought them on ebay for 40.00. From a referbished items store. They're look and sound brand new.

there really nothing wrong with getting 2way in the front and 3way in the back. you can always mount the 6.5 in the rear. if you need some help installing the 6.5 in the rear let me know.

If you want sound quality, put some 6.5's in the rear...a stereo shop will charge you $10 for custom plates. I don't even have my rears amped...it sounds better that way.

There's nothing wrong with that, but I certainly won't.

I'm SUPER, thanks for asking;
All things considered I couldn't be better I must say.
I'm feeling SUPER, no, nothing bugs me;
Everything is SUPER when you're...
I tryin to install some 6*9 also but i can't get the cover on top of the speakers to come, anyone can tell me how to do this?
If your's is a Gen3, you need to take off the whole rear section, which involves taking out the back seat and the two side bolsters. The grills won't come off unless you break them.
