so its not really an option for gen5 to replace the stock intake except for the filters what about lipkits? do they make one for gen5? i already use the search function but i cant find what im looking for, thanks.
from what i gather...there are a couple of people who got an injen cold air intake in their gen 5. i believe that they are the short ram style too.
the option of getting one for the gen 5 is there...depends how much money you want to spend. i have one on my car that was a custom a friend gave to me.
well....from the little knowledge i have on this stuff.
intake increases performance marginally as it has the ability to suck up colder air or have more effecient air flow in comparison to the stock one.
i honestly don't notice much difference. the car is a little louder and i can hear the car breath when i step on the gas on various occasions..
when taking the stock one apart though, there were so many pipes and parts...i believe that was necessary to keep a quiet ride. again...i don't have much knowledge on this kinda stuff.
oh and its a one off buy, no more re buying paper filters.

did u use photoshop? i have that program but its hard to use... dont have the manual on how to do thing though, i just downloaded it of the internet, i was wondering if you have a pdf file of that program, i got the photoshop cs 8.0, thanks!
there's a weapon R intake and an Injen intake .......i don't think the Injen one fits V6s but i hear someone made it fit somehow. The weapon R is for all.
From my knowledge...not much horsepower gain, but its something to have.
I have the K&N drop in replacement filter. no more buying of filters anymore. It does seem like i get better mileage and throttle response. i dunno. It's better than stock though
