I have a sony xplod system on my car, but for some reason I can't make the remote work, I've taken it everywhere to fix it, but all they tell me is: "buy a new one man", so I was wondering...can I buy some sort of universal remote for my system, or can I get a remote just for my system.

HELP ME GUYS!!!!!!

just get another SONY remote with the same serial number...that should work, also works with TVs...

RadioShack, Circuit City, or a good ole' yardsale, it doesnt have to be new, i have a 15 year old remote that works with our new TV...

sorry man no need to get offensive.

but i went threw a similar prob in my last car. I lost the remote to my deck so i got a remote from the same model deck and the damn thing didn't work.

i didnt mean to get angry, but i have a headache...

anyway, you have to understand that newbies are like freshmen...

i got a totally different remote for my Xplod system, and that one worked, guess it depends, huh?
