Gen5 How to remove a small dent on hood

hey
recently, i discovered i had a small pea sized dent on the hood while i was washing my car ???
how it got there ?????????????????
it might possibly be from all those times i went to the driving range

anyways, anyone know how effective those dent removal kits are??
the ones where you use suction cups, glue, and some bracket to support the suction cup

http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortmen...romSearch=true

this kit costs about 30 bucks canadian

how much would it cost if i took it in some shop??

what other options are out there for dent removal???

btw, there is no damage to the paint whatsoever, its just a small indent on the hood
almost looks like hail damage, but most likely a golf ball

the dent is small, but it always catches my eye now that i know where it is and its pissing me off

btw, its 2004 camry

thanks

Paintless Dent Removal.

I got 13 dents worked on. Some done with hot glue, suction cup, and silde hammer. Others done with the traditional rods.

Hood and driver fender were done with the rods. They are all gone.

Rear fenders and side panels done with the hot glue technique, due to no access to the panels from the inside, or I did not want to remove interior panels.

I was not too concerned with the rear panels and side panels. Whatever he could do, was good enough for me.

He did the hood and fender just for fun. He charged by the panel, so the numerous hood and fender dings were him just trying to find dings and work them out.

Overall cost was $45.

My previous trip was work on a nice dent on my driver fender, couple door dings, and some dings on my roof. Overall cost was $50. Body shop estimates for the fender alone was $350 to $1000+.

I think It's called Dent King? I'll have to ask my friend. He used it and it worked alright since his dents were huge. Not noticible from up close but as the light shines off of it, you can tell there is a dent.

the place we use for all of our cars charges $55.00 US per panel. So they will remove all dents, within reason, from one body panel for 55.00. Not a bad deal if you have multiple dents, may seem a little high for one small pea sized dent. Guess it depends on how anal you are about your car. Just look in the phone book for paintless dent removal. I bet there are several of them listed in your area.

$55 = ouch

Gotta love small town prices. The place I went to usually charges $12.50 per panel for dealers, according to the owner.
