I drive Camrys all day at work, and I notice several differences from my car than from others... one of the biggest is the Armrest... as I was working on mine today, I was puzzled... there seems to be an Armrest Upgrade... as seen here....
you can see a normal armrest, then my armrest next to it. Mine is made of plywood, foam, leather, and metal clamps... very professional made.. the "upgrade" seems to hook right on top of the stock one... as seen in the picture... What I was wondering... what do you have? the small one, or the SUPER SIZED one....
Regular on this '93 ES 300. I've never seen that "fatty" one before on anything. Tho I notoriously don't keep up with camry/Avalon/Sol stuff :P.

I have the larger one on my '95 LE, I think it came on the later model cars (IE. Gen 3.5) the other one was on the Gen 3 (92-94) correct me if I'm wrong.

My grandma has it on in her Gen 3.. (94?)... and when my regular small one was broken.. I got one from the junkyard and it had the supersized one on it.. I have it i think.. or it's tossed somewhere..

It was an option, I have the larger one on my 94... if I remember right from the window sticker it was an extra $90 back in 94, but I may be wrong... I definately know it was an option piece though.
im going to ask when i go back to work Tues... its just too funny.... "so sir, would you like to upgrade the radio to a CD player? 4 cyl to a 6 ? Leather seats? no.... how about your armrest? Yes - oh good."
