Hyper-White Lights HELP!

My friend can get me a good deal on hyper-white headlights, turn signals, and corners. I was wondering if they are illegal to use on the street and is so what kind of penalty it would be? They are the kind that look blue when off. Anyone ever have a problems with them??

I got them anyway today. I'm using them for evrything in the front end of the car. I here it basically a 24hr ticket here maximum. Get ticket, prove you changed them within 24hrs, and it droped (?). They aren't the real deep blue looking ones, so I dont think I'll have a problem. peace.

Not exactly...

Not all HIDs are legal, or at least here in the US. This is because most of them are not DOT approved. The only set I can think of off the top of my head that is DOT approved is the Xenarc series by Sylvania.

More and more cars are coming out of the factory with HID system now a days.. You shouldn't worry about it... Just make sure you adjust your headlights so it doesn't blind on-coming traffic.

I was actually scared i would get pulled over, I live in KC. KC is split betwwen kansas and missouri, no cop from KS or MO pulled me over. I would put them on, they're very attractive> most people race me when they see my lights...
