4th Generation headlights not working

Could use some help with diagnosing headlights not working with no warning. Highbeams work but regular lights don't switch on - daytime or night. Checked fuses and none appear to be blown. Pulled the bulbs out and they appear okay. Any system interconnections that could cause this? Does failure in one bulb affect both headlamps? Any help would be appreciated!

In most cases, the low beams burn out before the highs, and they often burn out w/in a couple days of each other. I'd try new bulbs first to see if that works...
