lightening diet

hey guys what can be done to lighten a gen3 camry's 3200lb's? my baby needs to drop a few pounds...hahaa

take out the seats, windows.....definatly if you have tint. Winsheild whipers and the paint.

....CF hood, window replacements, lose spare, bye bye system, racing seats, light rims.....Too costly for any noticeable change IMO though.

jon- yeah ur back...LOL.

I agree Im glad im small and light faster car!!!! I am tearing out my entire interior, and I have my spare out but I want a CF hood with scoops bad that hood is so heavy! I heard drillin in holes in the frame but not willing to do it myself.....yet!

it would definitely increase acceleration, but maybe only slightly. a better increase in acceleration for u is a manual tranny swap but then again, that is by no means free...

Reg hood = 45-60 pounds
CF hood = 10-20 pounds ?
