Now...I want to eventually drop my car 1.2" front and back, but i want my tires i get now to be able to work with a 1.2" drop. What should i go with? 215/50R17 or 225/45R17 ? Or something else?

215/50's will allow me to drop the car 1.2" in the future and not have to get new tires? i know its only a small difference in size between the 50's and 45's but just wanna make sure.

with my 215/50/17 i'm experiencing very sensitive road steering... as in the wheels are very senstive to the road's every little bumps and holes... is this normal with upgraded wheels? or is it because the offset is different then the oem spec? I have Tenzo R Formula 10...if i recall correctly the ET is 38mm

most likely you have stickier tires than stock.. so it grabs the road better. Also the lower profile will let you "feel" more imperfections in the road.
check your lugs too though. You're supposed to retorque them after the first 50 miles or so.

man today it was raining crazy and i was driving on the freeway to save time, w/ the new wheels and tires its really easy to wander off to one side whenever there's imperfections on the road... its exciting yet scary at times haha
