Here's my story....... I'm driving down the LIE.. hit abt 70 mph and notice the steering wheel vibrating... not violently but it is annoying and i never had this problem before. Anyone know what's up with this? i put abt 35 lbs of air in my tires and i just changed my brake pads 2 weeks ago..
could it be like this b/c i never rotated my tires? I have abt 45k on my car so far.

When you did your brakes, you took your wheels out right???
When you put it back in, did you put the wheels back in order??? You didn't mix right and left did you??? You can look at the tires, and look for the arrow sign, it should pointing forward.
you can rotate them yourself, which you should do every 10,000km or so, but you can't balance them yourself, no- a machine is needed
and generally speaking you don't need an alignment every year unless you get into an accident, change suspension components, or hit LOTS of potholes all the time

Go get them aligned and rotated or you'll risk chopping (tread wears unevenly) and then you'll have to get a new set, as they will get gradually worse. It's worth the $25 or so you'll pay, as a new set is about 10X that much minimum.

my steering wheel has been shaking since i got aftermarket rims, but the thing is, i see weights on my rims, and the company said the package comes mounted and balance, but i guees they did a bad job or sumtin? also wen i talked to them about it, they said get hubcentrics? wut do they do? or should i juss get my wheels rebalance by a pro?

i got the same problem before after getting brand new rims, what i did was i went back to the store where i bought my rims from and then i told them that to rebalance it, after that i havent had any shaking problems.
^ no, the company was saying that he needed to get hubcentric rings to use along with his aftermarket rims
it's because the bore on the rims are larger than the fit on the toyota hubs, so that the rims can fit more different types of cars, thus the weight of hte car is now resting on the studs instead of hte actual hub
get some hubcentric rings for your rims and it'll probably solve your shaking problems
