hello, I have an 03 Camry LE. Does anyone know whether the non JBL single CD disc headunit have CD changer controls? I am trying to plug in my iPod using this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-rzxKDkX...Spec%2C+toyota

In order for it to work, I need CD changer control, so...
Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Ipod use radio frequency? Just tune your radio to get the ipod's frequency. That's all.

Nah, you are thinking about the FM transmitter, I am talking about the interface that integrates iPod directly into the toyota headunit

Yes, there is an unused port on the back of your stock headunit, which is where the CD changer would plug into. Once you install that adapter, just press the CD button to switch to it.

yep. there is a cd changer input on the back. the quality will be much better than with the fm transmitter. I cant justify that cost for myself even though I want it badly. yeah that will work. you just need the Y cable RCA to 1/8 jack. thats 3$ at radio shack

yeah this would connect it directly than the FM transmitter which sounds like a radio...hardly any bass..... =/

i think you would change the songs via IPOD.

You could get the iPod remote and come up with a mounting solution. But I think there are some aftermarket adapters available - I forget what they are exactly. I'll make another post if I find out.
