installing bulbs ?

Hey ive already done searches but came up empty.

So i want to put some new headlight bulbs in my 02 camry se. i want to do the hyper white colored ones, like this

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33710

i mean not exactly those but you know, the ultra white HID-like bulbs that look almost blue.

anyway, to do this, do you have to remove the headlight and also bake it to open the headlight case to get to the bulbs, or can u just take out the headlight and do it without opening the actual light unit?

any help, along with maybe an installation guide would be appreciated soo much.

thanks

well i don't own a gen 5, i have a gen3. however, headlight bulb removal is very simple. i've done it on all the family cars. in the case of my camry, dads rav4 and brothers corolla, along with the grand marquis, you don't even need to take the headlight off. just look behind it for the cable holding the coket of the bulb. on a socket there should be a ligght latch. pres it in and pull the cable out. then i think you twist clockwise... or counter clockwise( i forgot) and the bulb itself comes out. pretty simple. just be sure not to touch the glass of the bulb.
by the way, are those eBay bulbs even legal? just cuz some peolpe say they are, are they really?

If you're just changing the bulbs, you just have to twist the bulb counterclockwise and it'll come out. Then disconnect the bulb from the connector. No need to take out the headlight or bake. Around here, baking is just to black out the inside, but since you've got a SE, yours are already blacked out!

Edit: Ok just in case someone might misread what I've mentioned above, just the process of baking won't black out your headlights. For that, you'll need paint. Great instructions have been posted before.

Turn the bulb counterclock wise looking at it from behind the bulb. Ie, if you were sitting in the driver seat, the rotation would be CCW. Looking at the bulb from the front of the car, the bulb turns CW.

Installation is the reverse of removal. Just line up the tabs.
