HID Kit

Does anyone knows where can I get a cheaper price for the HID kit?

btw, I heard from a chinese auto magazine mentioned about the HID kit that Philips and Osram only makes 6000K bulb in Germany, all the other 7000k or 8000k + is all made in Korea. Is this ture?

Personally, I would put the $400+ in performance parts, and spend about $50 on a pair of HID simulated bulbs.

No, they make both 4300k and 6000k.

I wouldn't suggest anything higher than 6000k because it'll actually decrease visibility and you will get ticket from cops.

(Do It Yourself) will only cost you $100-250 the most...
I bought Lexus IS300 HID system for $157 and put them in myself.
By the way, get Philips HID bulbs. Osram HID bulbs make more yellowish color than the Philips.

Where do you get the HID System for $157?? Coz I have a friend that he does the HID installation for free (for me). Maybe I can purchase it and have him install it for me.

I got mine from ebay. The one I got are not the packaged kits. They are "take offs" from wrecked cars. You have to be patient and wait until the good ones come out for auction... I waited like 2 months until I got mine... Go to ebay motors > Car parts & accessories catagory. Then do keyword search "HID ballasts", "HID ballast", "ballast", "D2R", "D2S", etc...
Don't just put "HID"! Trust me...

Some junk yards will selling them around that price as well.

Installing a "HID kit" is not that difficult, plug and play.

BTW, I don't believe you have a 2002 Camry SE V4, but rather a 2002 Camry SE I4
