Today I just had my EGR Vaccum Modulator replaced. And b4 this repair my CAI sounds lot louder, however today after the repair, the CAI seems to sound not as loud. Is this normal? Or would it have anything to do with being raining today and the engine is cutting back on power, but GEN 3 doesn't have traction control thou...

anyhow would someone be able to enlightment me on this? Thank you

it doesnt sound as loud... why are you worried? to tell you the truth, i'm sick of my intakes sound... i want the stock intake back

well just wan to make sure not sounding as loud is normal

Give it about a week to reconfigure itself. The ECU must re-tune itself to your driving style after a major replacement/repair has been done.

Check back in in a week if the intake still sounds funny.
