Fuel Filter Replacement

Hey Everyone!!!

Quick question for camry enthusiasts out there:

I wanted to replace the fuel filter on my 2.2L 95 Camry the other day, I unscrewed everything successfully (Filter bolts, etc.), but I couldn't get the fuel to stop leaking out. At first I thought it would drain out of the old filter and stop, but after wasting 1/4 gallon of gas I realized it wasn't going to. Has anyone done this before??? Am I doing something wrong??? Is it possible to change the fuel filter without going to a mechanic?

pop your gas tank filler cap out it releases the pressure in the fuel tank/lines... i did same thing.

quick question for YOU: does the bottom fitting have a flare nut? got a friend who wants me to change theirs.

it can be stubborn tho. i actually had to cut the feul line ind put a small piece of rubber fuel hose w/ fuel claps to let it seal
