3rd Generation front end exhaust question...

The braided section of my flex pipe has come loose from the main peice of the flex pipe. I'm just going to replace it, but I'm curious about something. I called the local pick N pull and they said that I could pick up the entire section *bolted portion from below headers down to the bolted portion behind the flex pipe for 10 bucks. Now the questions I have is this A: does the size of the flex pipe matter? IE if I got an cut out some random flex portion off of random camry or corrola will that work? The main question I have is that I plan to just go and remove the entire 3 foot section and replace mine *so as to give it a stock look instead of welds and broken pipe*. If I do that, what year 4 cyl camry's will match up to my 93? IE does the 94 Camry's I4 design match up to the 93 camry's design? Anyone know the answer to this. I'm not seeing this answer when I searched, so I'm hoping some of you guys who have already replaced the flex portion can answer for me.

Alan

well, I plan to get the whole peice...reason being is that a year and ahalf ago I had a shop repair the broken flex pipe prior to me moving to Texas. They didn't do such a good job, and I now have pipe with jagged edge, with smaller diameter flex pipe jammed into the old pipe and welded in place. Same on both ends...I'd like it to look decent again even though nobody really see's it..I still know it's there, and untill I can afford to get the exhaust system redone, this is all I have. Now I just need to know what other year's will fit the setup? or will only a 93 fit a 93?

so if I went and unbolted the section from the headers to the cat (flex pipe portion) off of say a 95 camry I4 it should bolt right in place to my 93 I4?
