Gen5 Removing Paint. How??

i have recently did a DIY red out on my 2005 camry tail lights. i used Krylon's stained glass Red paint and painted the top white portion of the tail lights. now turn signals now output red and replaced with a red bulb also.. the job was done rather fast so the quality is not what i wanted for the final result. i was wondering.. if there is a way to remove the paint smoothly ?? its about.. 3-5 coats of Krylon paint and about 2-3 coats of Clear Coat. should i juss take the tail lights out and put them face down and soak them in paint thinner?? or how should i go about doing this?
