Upper strut Mounts?

Straight forward question. Is this a dealer item only or do part stores have them? It's for a 97 camry. Thanks all

monroe and kyb make them. altho the monroes ive got look like theyve been rebuilt, which is ok i guess. i picked up a set of 4 today. $65 each for the fronts and $45 for the rears. these were for a gen 3 but the prices shouldnt be too different from a local parts store for a gen 4

is it for the engine or suspension?

engine upper strut mount is called a dog bone. get it from eBay. 18$ + shipping.

suspension strut mount, kyb makes them for sure. You can check www.tirerack.com but that site is overpriced for everything. if you want to go with toyota parts, there is a guy selling it on ebay for about $90 (retail like $109/front set. u need 2 sets)

KYB is much cheaper.
