Some reason my air bag light is always on =/ dont know why... , anyone got same problem?

yea i have that same problem. i took out the instrument panel to ghetto color my lights with a marker and now its on all the time. doesnt exactly bother me so im not gonna bother taking out the instrument panel and inspect. if u really want it off, take out your panel and just unscrew the light :P

So easy! I did this 5 days ago

Look in engine bay, back left corner. Open up the diagnose thing. Look for TC and AB. Take speaker wire and place 1 side in AB and other in TC. Take the ends of the wire and put it on ground (battery) and alternate every 1 sec switch fast. Your airbag light will flash and then shut off. Cake!

but that just turns it off.... what if there is something wrong with the system though? i would say get it checked out before fiddling around with it. better safe than sorry ya know.

Disconnect the negative battery for 1 minute.

Reconnect the negative battery terminal.

Start vehicle.

If the air-bag light persists, take it to a dealer.

If there is a problem with the airbag system the light will come right back on after you clear it. Id get it checked out. When the light is on the airbags wont work in an accident.
