4th Generation HELP! will these rimz fit

I know alot of people are saying alot of things about sizes for rimz i need to know if this will fit on my 1998 camry

size is 17"x7, 5x100/5x114.3 bolt pattern, +40mm offset.

i really really want these but i do not know if it will a proper fit

and if it does fit will i be limited to tire sizes.and how low can i lower my car with rimz tires.

should fit if you use the 5X114.3 bolt pattern.

You are going to be limited in tire size. 205/40-215/35 should work well on that rim with no rubbing against your fender.

If you are still anxious, jump on http://www.tirerack.com and find a similar size rim and check what your options are

^ actaully, his tire options are pretty fair... 215/45/17 (most common, but slightly undersized), 225/40/17, 215/50/17

I would go with the 225 series, because it looks more aggressive with the width

Userlain i think he has a gen4...not a gen2
so 205/40, 215/35 is a bit too small

I've got the same car as you and I have 17x7 with 38 offset (smaller the number, the further it stick out). I'm running 225/45/17 Yoko ES100 (previously 215/45/17- harsher ride). The tires rub a bit only when someone is in the back and we go over a bump. With your 40 offset, you might be able to get away with the same tire size(225/45/17), otherwise I would recommend 215/50/17 if you want to play it safe. BTW: are you lowering the car?
