Ok.... I HAVE looked and the results are just bits and snippetts of info. SO....
I am asking....
Does any one here run N2O on a daily driver?
If you do, what BRAND.. NX, Zex, NOS, etc...
What shot?
What Engine?
Pros / Cons... Problems?
I am wanting to run an NX system w/15lb bottle. I called NX and spoke to a rep. Very nice person. He informend me that the basic system is 100% complete. Also, in order to "round out" the system, a remote opener and BOV in case it overheats. He suggested a warmer... but in Gawja in the summer.... I seriously doubt it... Anyway.. I was hoping to a single N2O thread on the good, bad & ugly of N2O.

I have it on my show car. I am currently sponsored by NX so I run it. I have not tested it out yet but we put it on my friend's CRX and that thing really feels like night and day with performance.

Thanx for adding your info. I am hoping that this thread could MAYBE become a good resource on this topic, as the current info is scatterd and buried within other threads.
Thanx!

15lbs. is a bit over kill... a 10lbs bottle will do fine. The v6 can handle more than the I4. I knew a guy with a 1mz Camry and he was running a 75 shot with no problem.
You can probably run a 100shot on your 3vz with no problems. Make sure you do a compression test to make sure that your piston rings are in working condition.

I have the Venom VCN1000 computer controlled system on my Gen V6 3vzfe....yes it is a daily driver. 75 shot system....Pros...lots of them. Safe system tied in witht he TPS, 02 sensor, and injectors. Shuts down when engine runs lean. Con.....few.....everynow and then it acts strange.... no status light...but then comes on after 1 minute of driving.
I was planning on the 15lb bottle... for stable pressure. I was told the larger the bottle, the more stable the shots would be. Also, I am starting w/the 35hp shot.... JUST to be on the safe side. I figured it should handle that no prob. Please keep posting here.. as it is really Valuable information!

Ive used an NOS brand kit for about 3 years now on my 3vz and it works fine. I switched to a sneakyt pete nx system after that and it was alright, small shots on that one. 3vz can take a 125 spray no problem if you have your fuel setup properly.
Next step for me is adding a small shot to my new turbo setup.

Wheres the cheapest place i can get a nitrous system?
Is it hard to install? and wouldn't there be traction problems?
well....check around....decent kits BEGIN about $600 in most places.....hard to install....dry system isn't hard....wet system will involve you tapping into your fuel rail. As far as traction.....no problems here.....biggest problem I face is actually letting off of the gas as 110mph comes and goes a LOT quicker
I musta done something right this year.... Santa will deliver my ZEX 82021
N2O next week! It is ordered and on the way! Yea, the WIFE... said she ordered it because she was tired of hearing me say that I wanted it... and we had to wait. Repaint this, fix that, New sofa... etc... well..... IT IS ON THE WAY!
I am planning on a "stealth" install. I do NOT want anyone to see anything when the hood is open. The NMU will be wrapped in black foam. The lines will have the black, wire tubing on them, and the nozzle will be on the underside of the intake, out of view. I will mount the bottle in the trunk on a piece of 3/4 plyboard and on the bottom of the plyboard will be felt stuff to keep it from sliding and moving. After it is on, I will get the pressure gauge and the warmer... and MAYBE the remote opener... not sure onthat one.
I will take photos and post.
Will keep you posted.

How many miles do you have on your car? I drive a 95 w/ a 5sfe that has over 115000 and i would love to add some juice to it. What do you guys think is it going to be a smart move.
ps it would be a dry system
I have 55,000 on it now. It was basically never driven by the 1st owner. My best friend is the lead service tech at the local Toyota dealership. He and and work on this car. He had a compression test done and all 6 are fine. We put in the iridium NGK plugs, colder. And I am adding the Walbro 190lph fuel pump as well, just to make sure it is fed properly. I will start out on the 55 pill and try all of them.. 55, 65, 75. I am thinking that the 65 will be the sweet spot. Also, I will be putting in line with the arming switch a momentart push button.. so I CAN control at WOT when it hits. Just what i wanted to do.
I will keep you posted.

P.S. I would seriously think about a wet system. A little more $$$ and one more line, but at least running lean will not be an issue.
