Does anybody know what is the RPM range for Camry XLE 2000-1 at speed of 120Km?

Cool

About the same as any other.

Depending on which tire / wheel combo, and assuming the torque convertor is locked up. 2000rpm produces 51.5-52.5 mph.

Under the same conditions, 120kph comes at 2840-2875rpm.

at what speed does the torque converter lock u at?.... does it have to be in the highest gear in order for it to lock? who can u tell if it locked or unlocked?




Will it lock up at lower speed (ie crusing at 40 mph) 1500 rpm?

around 1500 or so for gears 1-3....and 4 is overdrive, so it stays locked

E you're off bud.
They don't lock-up in first or second, or if you are accelerating past 50% throttle (TPS signal) including O/D.

TC lockup disengages when the throttle is fully closed, or the brake light switch is triggered.

A541-E:
Drive
100% Throttle
1>2 - 37-40mph
2>3 - 70-75mph
3>O/D - 108-113mph

0% throttle (Deceleration)
O/D>3 - 104-109mph
3>2 - 65-70mph
2>1 - 25-27mph

2 Position
100% throttle
1>2 - 37-40mph

3>2 - 76-81mph
2>1 - 31-34mph
