Tokico vs. KYB

Which one's better?
I heard KYBs don't last as long as Tokico...
What are your experience with KYBs?

but what i heard is the other way around.....
cuz the shop that selling me the struts is not going to carry Tokico any more..cuz they had too many problem with it (leak) and ppl keep coming back for warranty....
TOKICO Blue - made in China, Thailand, Phil...etc..
KYB- made in JAPAN

also.. you can take a look some of the Japanese site... most of the ppl there use KYB than Tokico.....

I wanted Tokico when I first went to upgrade, but they were back ordered. The shop told me KYB was just as good quality, if not better, but were a little less firm.

I have had KYB GS-2 on my Solara now for 6 months with a 1.6'' drop and they have handled great, no problems, plus they have had abuse from the Chicago potholes and still have stood up.

It depends on how low you want to drop your ride. If it's anything under 2 inches I would go with KYB, they are cheaper and just as good. If Get really stiff springs and lower it more than to inches I would go with Tokico. I have KYB Gr-2 with Eibach springs, which is a 1.2 drop. It's a comfortable ride and there is definitely an improvement on corning.
