Is this caused by intentional sabotage or road debris on road?
My 2004 Camry is not even 1 year old yet, and I can't believe how many nicks I have received on the body. But there's nothing compared to these 3 nicks I found few days ago. My question is were these nicks on the front of the car caused by intentional sabotage or road debris on road?
Next question is how would I protect my car from these nicks? I have thinking of cleaning the car with Klasse All-in-one cleaner and protect it with Klasse Sealant and put on few layers of decent wax(not sure what brand).
depends on where you drive and whether those truck drivers (especially those 18 wheeler construction truck drivers that pull around a tractor/dirt digger) are considerate enough to clean their trailler bed before hitting the highway.
Once, I was following a tractor and he was dropping baseball size dirt every 5 seconds on the interstate.
To protect it, u can use LeBra bumper/hood protector.
Or Toyota has a clear protector, check the dealership. It is more expensive though.
Thank you Skewe. I am checking ebay now. I think labra clear protector is what I need. It beats than having to wash and wax the car all the time. What is the best price to get for this protector?

LeBra is usually leather and it is black.
I think u might have seen some on the road.
It covers the bumper and part of the hood. LeBra is about 80-90$ but there are some other brands other than that.
For the clear plastic that I saw at the dealership, it is by 3M and it goes over the bumper, etc. not sure if it covers the hood or mirrors but if you call your toyota dealership, i am sure they are able to tell you.
The eBay link looks like it but not sure about quality. Description is vague. They used the word PAINT and then the word FILM to describe it. If it is a film, then that is the same thing i saw at the dealership.
just wait until you do a body kit....you and your paintshop will be on daily terms....I've had mine for 2 years and I m ready for a re-shoot of my front
you will get those....
i have tried my best to steer clear of those nicks, but there is no way. the invisible film is a great addition. not sure about the LeBra one...i remember when i got my car that some people were companing that the film turned yellowish over time. not sure about that.
Yeah it's hard to avoid it.....especially the cement truck! Especially dodge those..you don't want a cement rock to come flying at your windshield! my hood and front bumper doesn't look too good.......i'm thinking of getting it repainted someday....

If you use those leather bras on the front end, the one that covers the entire front end, bumper and hood on the Camry is somewhat nasty looking to me. The hood part only, looks a bit better. Maybe because it was because I was it on a silver car...I dunno...just looked funny to me.
If you leave the bra on there for a long time, like a period of several years, you car will have a tanline . At least my 90 Prelude did. The part that was covered was a different shade of red than the rest of the hood so I had to leave it on there.

there will be a tan line as touring camry said but that is after quite some time. I know the older honda prelude (especially the red) of the late 1980 and early 1990 had a bad case of color fading.
As for the film turning yellow, i think if you go with 3M, there should be no problem as 3M products are usually of a higher quality.
Eh I would never use a bra. They get all shitty on the inside and scratch the paint anyways.
There are two types of clear plastic you can bond to your paint on the front 1/4, and front facing areas of the vehicle. I forget the name. They don't harm the paint, can be waxed and stuff. Most importantly they don't like silly, and they don't block all UV light, letting the paint fade at an equal rate.
Get some of those.
