Strut spring perch?
I was planning to use Big Body LX's excellent strut DIY write-up this weekend on my 94 XLE V6, so off to tirerack.com I went to order the struts, mounts, etc.
This is in the description for KYB GR-2 sealed strut:
"Note: Front Left fitment For models with Sealed Struts. Must reuse OE spring perch."
Doesn't the strut come with a perch? Tried getting the info from Tirerack, but they sent me to KYB.
Also, what's the difference between the $117 KYB front mount and the $45 dealer mount (apart from $72)?
