another question

How is the ride with Tein S-Techs and Tokico blues? Do they work well together. I keep seeing Tokico/Eibach everywhere. Are the Tein S-Techs progressive?

tx..

s- Techs will lower a little more. Teins are VERY good. PLUS they're about $50 less than eibachs but quality is about the same as eibachs.

How do they work with Tokico blues? Are the S-Tech softer then the Eibachs? I'm Worried about the car being to stiff...

if you're really worried about over stiffness, then I would go with kybs instead of tokicos...

the tokicos are top notch, but they are very stiff (if you ask me)

How does the stock parts work as compared to tokicos and kyb's, just had everything in the back replaced, struts, shocks, brake pads, shim kit, and bushings on the sway bar for only $300 including parts and the guy installing them for me, he works in a toyota company, so he got the parts for me pretty cheap and installed em. Just wanna know if it was worth doing that or should i have bought one of thos brands (kyb's, tokicos)

Here's the deal with KYB's...

VERY MUSHY. Quite honestly, don't think they're made for lowering springs. My car bounces a lot (not like a blown shock but it kinda floats) and I have sprint springs and KYB GR-2 Shocks. I got the D-2 coilovers heading my way so that should solve some problems.

As for the Gen4's. I WOULD get the bilstein shocks (TRD) and the Tein Springs. That's just my personal opinion.

thanks I don't want mushy. I want tight but I don't want to feel like i'm in an RX8 or something like that. Do bilstein still make a version of the TRD struts?

TRD is the same thing as Bilstein. TRD USA outsources almost all their products.
