2nd Generation Is this normal?

Okay, so today i was washing my car right after driving it for about a half hour. So i pulled off the hub caps and when i hosed the steelies off, i noticed that the driver's side rim and brakes weren't even that hot, but the passenger side rim and brakes was so hot there was steam coming off them, and i could feel the heat about 2 feet away. I find it odd that the driver side rim was cool enough to touch but the other side seemed to be heated up like normal. So, what do you guys thnk my problem could be?

Thats right, i had the same on my car... I changes the pads on both sides, and pushed the piston on the calipters in and out some times to make sure it was ok. Since then, no problems.

change the brake hoses when you change the calipers and pads, and look real closely at the rotors for heat cracks, but rotors are so cheap now that changing them also would not be a bad idea

Cool

Never wash yuor car after driving it.

Seriously good chance of warping rotors.
