3rd Generation PCV Valve

Can someone tell me where exactly its located? I have a chilton manual, but the pictures are useless to me. I would like it if some could post a picture that exactly shows where it is, that would be nice.

What is the right way of taking it off and then putting a new one on?

Use a set of pliers to undo the quick-connect clamps, removing the rubber hose going to the upper intake. Leave the other end attached to the PCV valve, then tug up and to the side (there's a notch in the PCV valve that corresponds with a notch in the valve cover). Then, take the hose off the old PCV valve and attach it to the new one. From there installation is the reverse of removal.

If the clamps fight you, it's ten minutes tops.

Will I see a improvement? I don't know the last time if it was changed or if it ever has been changed at all?

If you do a search of PCV, you'll find a mod that a fellow posted (think Toysrme is the poster).

Its a way to rig a more effective oil trap. The oil blow by eventually gums up the throttle body, throttle flap, vacuum ports and IAC (ISC) valve. Changing the PCV is one thing to fix, the other is to clean the throttle body occasionally.
