balancing issue?

my 97 cam v6 has a slight vibration on the steering wheel when i reach 70mph and above speeds. I just installed new wheels and they are balanced. Is this normal for aftermarket wheels? O yea also, Tokico blues and Eibachs. Also, I could feel the vibration through the seats too.

So is it balancing issue or are my struts going bad and starting to hop and skip?

If ur wheels are balanced, then it sounds like u need hubcentrics, b/c the center bore of ur wheel could be larger than the car hub, they make them bigger as to let the rim fit more cars, so there is a gap in between the bore and the hub, which means the rim is sittin on the lugs, thats where the vibration is comin from, it could be that or whoever balanced ur wheels didnt kno wut they were doin....

www.justforwheels.com thats where u can get sum hubcentrics.....

If they are showing up as balanced at the store, and they start to vibrate at a higher speed, you could have a tire going out of round. May be fixed under warranty as it would be a manufacturer's defect.
