Here's my answer to you.
TRD (A.K.A. Eibachs) You won't lose your ride quality and it will still run smoothly. The tailpipe will scrape a bit, but depends what type of road you're driving around in.
what? xpeed? they scrape? dude i was thinking about gettin those but they scrape? that tailpipe sure is low. don't wanna fudge it up.....
anyway how long do you think stock struts will last with that? i still don't know what aftermarkets are offered besides the KYB GR-2 which is....eh i heard.

Stock struts can last a long time. It depends on the roads you drive, how you drive, etc.
Yes, stock struts will work on it. Tokico's are good.
Have you seen the tailpipe on a stock camry? Those things look like it'll scrape going over dips and stuff but they don't. But, I'm pretty sure you won't scrape your tailpipe as much. It'll be minimum. I'm just worried I might scrape my front bumper going to my house. My neighborhood is full of dips and and all. There's no way I can avoid them. Either way, I'm still lowering it.
Got the TRD's on mine. No tail pipe scrapes yet, but several front lip scrapes with the oem body kit. Just enough to scrape some paint and plastic off the bottoms. The SE already had stiffer shocks than the other versions so ride quality change was noticeable but slight. Also be aware that I will be hitting the big 50 this year so comfort is a factor for me and the springs are bouncier but not unbearably so. Even my wife hasn't said anything about the ride, just complained about my spending the money.
Pssh, when I get a wife, I'm gonna have a seperate account for my car and my wife. Of course, the account for my car will have more than my wife, but sshhh, she won't know that.

Thats what you think. Unfortunately the women dictate to much of how and where money is spent. Then when you have a kid it is even worse. Oh well, I love my wife.
Good info about lowering here by the way, thanks.
