Hey everybody, like the title implies, I would like to hear from those who have these, or know of some who has, or just plain already know about them and could share their testimony or experience, both good and bad so as to give me some insight on which one is the right one go with for the purpose of getting the most horsepower.
Thanx, for sharing your reviews!

Reason: Clarify
this really depends....what have you done to your car?
to get the most power, you have to go standalone. the ecu on the 1mz obdII modules will over ride anything and everything eventually, including emanage.

From what I heard, the Venom unit is nothing BUT junk. I would go for the SAFC and go for a nice little dyno tune and you should be set.

^ Because an SAFC is usually for more "modded" cars. If you put the horsepower to dollar amount into the SAFC, it's about $100 per hp IF THAT.
Honestly, he should go nitrous OR turbo if he is getting a SAFC. Just makes more sense.

that's not what i meant, i meant save for nitrous/turbo/engine rebuild/whatever. Not buy the SAFC. I am with you in saying there isn't really any reason to get an engine management type unit with so few mods.

Fuel managment will give about 10% gain. Remember you still need 2hrs on dyno to tune the SAFC. Also everytime you add something, you'll need to tune it again. So don't get it until you're done modding.
Im with this guy i bought my safc-2 last week but am not going to install it till i grab my engine and turbo, so it will save me a lot of tuning time. heard good things about this so im hoping to be impressed
Thanx everyone for your responses and I welcome you to continue with your comments, and thanx for those who answered the question directly. All 'n all, and correct me if I am wrong, but I'm getting that it would be best to go with the SAFC instead of the Venom but it would be wise to hold off on getting the SAFC until some more serious mods r added such as perhaps fuel upgrade followed with some tuning, and mabey nitrous or turbo along with some tuning time and other ( minor mods), and after all the major tunining, and then to complment that with the SAFC, and then some more tuning. Is this the jist of it?
